Fill out our [Quote Request Form] with as much detail as possible—quantity, whether you’re providing an item or would like us to source one for you, material type, any project deadlines, item dimensions, and whether you’ll drop it off or need shipping, etc. You can also upload design files or reference images.
We’ll review your request and respond shortly.
We also sell standardized custom products in our Shop. No quote request required on these items.

Once your quote is approved, you can drop off your item locally (West Fargo, ND) or ship it to us from anywhere in the U.S. If you’re not providing us an item we will order what’s needed for your project. We’ll confirm the scope and timeline before getting started.
-
You’ll receive a digital proof showing exactly how your design will be laid out. Approve it as-is, or request changes. We won’t engrave anything until you give the go-ahead.
-
We complete your engraving with the laser best suited for your item (CO₂ Fiber, UV, or Diode). Once finished, you can pick it up or we’ll carefully package and ship it back to you with tracking.

Laser Engraving FAQs
-
Yes — that’s one of the things that sets us apart. We regularly engrave customer-supplied items. We’ll review a few details through our quote process (material, shape, size, and your design) and then send pricing and next steps. If you’re in the Fargo area, we offer scheduled drop-off and pickup. To get started, submit our Request a Quote form or email a photo and short description to info@lazeric.com.
-
We can laser engrave a wide range of materials, including metal, wood, glass, plastic, leather, stone, and coated or painted surfaces. We can engrave flat items, round items, and many irregular shapes. If you’re not sure about your material, send a photo through our Request a Quote form and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
-
Absolutely — customers ship items to us all the time. Before you send anything, submit our Request a Quote form (or email info@lazeric.com) with a photo and a short description so we can review it and confirm the details. Once approved, we’ll send shipping instructions. When it’s complete, we’ll ship it back securely with tracking.
-
It varies, but we move fast. For most local drop-off orders, turnaround is same day to about 1 week, depending on our current workload and the quantity you need engraved. For items ordered through our shop, turnaround is typically up to about 10 days after proof approval. If you have a deadline, include it in your Request a Quote form and we’ll confirm timing before you commit.
-
Yes — we provide a design proof before we engrave. You’ll always receive at least one proof, and typically two: one for the artwork/layout itself, and a second showing how the design will look on your item (placement and scale). We’ll also include font options when text is involved. Nothing gets engraved until you approve the final proof.
-
Custom work doesn't have a "one-size-fits-all" price because we don't simply "hit go" on the laser. Every project requires technical file preparation, intimate knowledge of material reactions, and precision alignment to ensure a perfect result. Our shop minimum for custom engraving is $25. This covers the engineering time required to calibrate our equipment for your item’s specific surface, shape, and composition before the laser even fires.
Standard Estimates:
Single Drinkware: ~ $25
Personal Items (Watches, Knives, Rings): Typically $40–$75
Complex Technical Projects: $75–$200+
Bulk & Corporate Orders: We offer tiered, volume-based pricing for production runs. Because every business project has unique technical requirements and quantities, these are quoted individually to ensure the most competitive rate.
Note: These are ballparks. Once you Request a Quote and send a photo/design, we’ll provide a fixed price upfront so there are no surprises. Items purchased through our shop are priced directly on the product page.
-
No — there’s no minimum order quantity. We’re happy to engrave one-off items, and we also handle larger bulk orders.
-
Not at this time — we’re by appointment only. The first step is to reach out (Request a Quote, email, call, or text) so we understand what you’re looking for. From there, we’ll coordinate a drop-off and pickup time that works for both of us.
-
Yes — we offer bulk pricing for larger orders, especially when the design is the same across multiple items (logos, names, departments, employee gifts, etc.). If you tell us the quantity, item type, and artwork, we’ll quote the best per-item rate upfront.
-
Yes — we can engrave non-serialized firearm parts (for example: slides, grips, magazines, and other external components). We do not currently hold a Federal Firearms License (FFL), so we cannot accept or work on serialized components (such as frames or receivers). Do not ship or drop off a complete firearm. If you’re unsure whether your part is serialized, contact us first with a photo.
-
Not at this time — we’re a full-time, home-based studio in West Fargo with scheduled drop-off and pickup by appointment only. We’ll coordinate a time that works for both of us, and we’ll meet you outside when you arrive.
-
Yes, we can often accommodate tight deadlines depending on our current production workload. Because our shop is focused on precision and dedicated project time, a rush request involves adjusting our machine schedule and technical preparation to prioritize your item.
Availability: This is determined on a case-by-case basis. Please mention your "Must-Have" date when you Request a Quote.
Rush Fees: Depending on the lead time required and the complexity of the project, an additional rush fee may apply to expedite the engineering and production phases.
We will always let you know immediately if we can meet your deadline before you commit to the project.

We operate a suite of industrial-grade laser systems—including CO2, Fiber, and UV—allowing us to select the exact wavelength required for your specific material.
Laser engraving is a science of light absorption; what works for wood will destroy electronics or fail to mark bare metal. By maintaining multiple systems, we ensure that every mark is high-contrast, permanent, and structurally sound. Whether it’s the high-speed precision of a Fiber laser on hardened tool steels or the delicate touch of a UV laser on glass and specialized plastics, we match the technology to the technical requirements of your project.
